THE STORY BEHIND
Worn in days of old by the guides of Napoleon III's imperial guard, this fitted ceremonial jacket has been completely transformed! This double face scarf blends the original 1972 Brandebourg design by Caty Latham, inspired by an album from the Emile Hermès collection, with flowers by Australian illustrator Jeff Fisher. On the front, brandenburgs snake their way between the metal buttons to form a hypnotic network of cords and braids. While on the reverse, the jacket blends into the background, camouflaged among the water lilies like a colorful and hypnotic wallpaper.
